About Me

I was raised on a 45-foot sailboat in the Puget Sound. I am an adventurous traveler, a neuroscience geek, a baker of extravagant birthday cakes, a dance enthusiast, an animal-lover, a meditator, a recovering perfectionist, and an expert at burning grilled cheese sandwiches.

I opened my private practice in 2011. My professional background includes experience working with homeless and incarcerated populations in community mental health settings, counseling first generation college students of color in New York City, conducting intersectional anti-racism consultation/training programs, working with homeless youth, and teaching organic gardening.
